🚨 Kaduwela, Koralathota Rajamaha Viharaya road near Kaduwela, when a vehicle (car/cab) traveling in front was about to turn right, a motorcycle coming at high speed from behind skidded while turning right to save it and collided with a three-wheeler parked on the side of the road. With the car in front slowing down to turn right, the motorcyclist coming from behind could not control the speed and immediately tried to overtake or save him on the right. Due to heavy braking, the motorcycle overturned and skidded on the road and collided with the three-wheeler parked in front of a shop on the opposite side. Fortunately, the two riders who were traveling on the motorcycle did not collide directly with the three-wheeler and were saved from being thrown into it. Attempting to overtake on the right at turns: When a vehicle in front is slowing down to turn right, attempting to overtake it on the right is a fatal mistake. If the vehicle fails to stop, it pulls into the opposite lane and collides directly with parked vehicles or oncoming vehicles. Front Wheel Lock-up on Motorcycles: In an emergency, if the front brake is applied hard at the same time, the wheel will lock and the motorcycle will slide to one side (Low-side crash).
