🚨 On the Negombo-Kurunegala (34) main road, a white Honda Grace Hybrid car ran off the road and collided with a shop at around 06:00 this morning (2026/10/10) in Dambadeniya area. Due to the driver's sudden sleepiness (Micro-sleep) in the morning, the car went out of control and went over the concrete drain on the side of the road and stopped in front of a shop on the side of the road. Due to the collision, the front right side bumper, headlight parts, bonnet cover and side mirror were also severely damaged, and the car's airbags have been activated. No one was inside the shop or on the pavement at the time of the accident, so a major accident was avoided and the driver was not seriously injured. The police came and investigated the incident.
