🚨 Today (13/10/2026) in Kaithadi area of Jaffna, a motorcycle and a heavy lorry collided with each other in a tragic accident. Unfortunately, two young people who were traveling on the motorcycle died on the spot. At the time of the accident, the motorcycle collided with the front of the lorry and got stuck in its underbody, and due to the high force of the collision, the motorcycle was completely shattered and its front handle, pair of forks, silencer and body parts were scattered all over the road. The two youths who were traveling on the motorcycle fell on the road and died on the spot due to severe injuries. Chavakachcheri police have arrested the driver of the lorry in connection with the incident and are conducting further investigations.
