🚨 A Mahindra Bolero Maxi Truck Plus cab and a Tata Xenon type cab collided with each other today (10/10/2026) at around 04:30 am near Pudavaikattu Bridge, Kutchaveli on the Trincomalee - Pulmude main road. Due to the force of the collision, the front driver's cabin, bonnet cover and front axle of the Bolero were crushed and stopped in the middle of the road. The other Tata cab lost control, veered off the road and hit the front wall of a nearby building. Steps have been taken to admit the drivers who were injured in the accident to Kuchchaveli and Trincomalee hospitals for immediate treatment, and the Kuchchaveli police are investigating the incident. ගැටුමේ ප්‍රබලත්වය හේතුවෙන් බොලෙරෝ රථයේ ඉදිරිපස රියදුරු කුටිය, බොනට් ආවරණය සහ ඉදිරිපස ඇක්සලය සහමුලින්ම පොඩිපට්ටම් වී මාර්ගය මැද නතර වී ඇති අතර, එහි පැටවූ මාළු පෙට්ටි පෙරළී මාළු තොගය මාර්ගය පුරා විසිරී ගොස් තිබේ. අනෙක් ටාටා කැබ් රථය පාලනයෙන් ගිලිහී මාර්ගයෙන් ඉවතට පැන පසෙක තිබූ ගොඩනැගිල්ලක ඉදිරිපස බිත්තියේ ගැටී නතර වී ඇත. අනතුරින් තුවාල ලැබූ රියදුරන් කඩිනමින් ප්‍රතිකාර සඳහා කුච්චවේලි සහ ත්‍රිකුණාමලය රෝහල් වෙත ඇතුළත් කිරීමට පියවර ගෙන ඇති අතර, සිද්ධිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් කුච්චවේලි පොලීසිය විමර්ශන සිදුකරයි.
