​🚨 On the Buttala-Unawatuna road yesterday (2026/10/08) a serious accident occurred when a Bajaj Platina type motorcycle and a bicycle collided with each other. In the collision, the front lamp cover, meter board and handle of the motorcycle were completely crushed, and the front wheel and frame of the bike were completely bent and destroyed. The motorcyclist and the two persons traveling on the bicycle were injured and immediately admitted to the Buttala Regional Hospital, and steps were taken to transfer the motorcyclist who was in serious condition to the Monaragala District General Hospital for further emergency treatment.
