A serious accident between Galanigama and Dodangoda on the Southern Expressway, more than 10 people to the hospital

The accident occurred when a bus and a cab carrying school children from Matara to Colombo collided with each other and at the same time several other vehicles that came behind collided with each other. It is reported that several vehicles including two buses and 6 cars have been involved in the accident and more than 10 people injured in the accident have been taken to hospital. Due to this, the police had taken steps to divert the vehicles running from Galle to Colombo out of the Dodangoda exit.
