A lorry loaded with cement collided with a stopped gas lorry and an overpowered electric pole causing an accident and a fish lorry following the lorry and a nearby bus were also damaged in the accident.

திருகோணமலையில் இருந்து ஹபரணை நோக்கி பயணித்த சீமெந்து ஏற்றிச் சென்ற லொறி ஒன்று, கந்தளே போர்டன் காடு சந்தியில் நிறுத்தப்பட்டிருந்த எரிவாயு லொறி மற்றும் உயர் மின்கம்பத்துடன் மோதி இன்று (08) காலை விபத்துக்குள்ளானதுடன், லொறியை பின் தொடர்ந்து வந்த மீன் லொறியும், அருகில் இருந்த பஸ்ஸும் சேதமடைந்துள்ளன. மின்கம்பங்கள் மற்றும் மின்கம்பங்கள் முறிந்து வீழ்ந்துள்ளமையினால் மின்சார அமைப்பு பாரியளவில் சேதமடைந்துள்ளதுடன் கந்தளாய் நகரின் பிரதான வீதியின் போக்குவரத்தும் தடைப்பட்டுள்ளது.

A lorry loaded with cement traveling from Trincomalee towards Habarana collided with a stopped gas lorry and a high power pole at the Kantale Portan Kadu junction and an accident occurred this morning (08) and a fish lorry following the lorry and a nearby bus were also damaged in the accident. Due to the collapse of power lines and poles, the power system has been severely damaged and traffic on the main road in Kantale city has been blocked due to this.
