A car suddenly catches fire in Kelesgamuwa area on the Horana - Millaniya road.

A small car that was driving from Horana towards Millaniya caught fire at around 12:15 midnight the previous day (29) in Millaniya, Kelesgamuwa area. After the driver, who was the only person in the car at the time, failed to put out the fire, Millaniya informed the police about it. Later, the police officers came and tried to control the fire, but by then the car was completely engulfed in flames. There was no loss of life in the incident, and the cause of the fire has not yet been revealed. The Millaniya police are conducting further investigations in this regard.
